Meet Anchorage Chiropractor Dr. Jennifer Waldroup Gray
Dr. Jen was born in Iowa while her father, Dr. Woody Waldroup was attending Palmer College of Chiropractic. She and her siblings were raised by the chiropractic principals and it’s way of life. “Eat well, take care of your body and keep your spine adjusted” is what her father would advise to his patients. Dr. Jen spent many hours working at her parents chiropractic clinic throughout high school and much of College.
Knowing so much about the profession it seemed only right that she keep it in the family and head off to Iowa to attend Palmer in her father’s footsteps. While at Palmer she met her husband Charlie and had her first born son Ethan. In April 2009, her daughter Audrey was added to the family. Dr. Jen and Dr. Charlie are committed to raising their kids with chiropractic principles in mind.
Dr. Jen is an active member of the Alaska Chiropractic Society where she currently serves on the board as treasurer. She is also a member of the Alaska Birth Network and the American Pregnancy Association. She loves to keep involved with current research about alternative health care options. She had the great honor to be selected for the Clinic Abroad program in her last trimester of school at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Jen traveled to many places in India providing free Chiropractic care to people in need.
Dr Jen is also an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association where she holds her Webster Technique Certification. The Webster Technique is a chiropractic specific technique that helps to detect and correct subluxations for optimal pelvic alignment that also will help provide proper fetal positioning. Dr. Jen continues to travel to pediatric seminars with the ICPA where she keeps up to date with the latest research and techniques available on chiropractic care for pregnancy and for children.
